The end of the day

After a day of celebrating brunch and happy hour, my birds fly home to rest until tomorrow. I often find myself wondering where all my little birds nests are located. I see them flying off in various directions and in their little groups. Usually the Doves are first to go. All though, I get the occasional pair or group of doves at last call but this is rare. Next are the House Finches and they make a grand exit flying while deep in conversation with one another. Also, my Abert’s Towhee pair. They head out about 5:15 at the latest when they do come by for last call. Then finally, the White Crowned Sparrows. White Crown Sparrows are my little party birds because they are mostly last to leave. I sometimes hear my Mockingbird in the distance and rare does he come by around 5:45pm for a quick water and some worms. I just think it would be nice to know where all my birds live.
