This is my special Abert’s Towhee coming to eat. I always have a nice plate prepped for my special Towhee couple when I hear them in the area. I usually call out to match their tone and they alert me upon arrival.
I walk out with their plate calling to them while they wait in the tree until I put their plate down. I always make sure that it is hidden from predators. I take a few step back and they usually jump down to eat asap.
The male more so as the female is sometimes reluctant
