While proper nutrients for your birds are crucial to staying healthy, so is knowing the species of birds you will be entertaining in your backyard. Some birds will not use the fancy feeders while others prefer to eat on a ground feeder. This is a matter of knowing your feathered friend through observation, communication and of course, research. You will also need to consider the location of your feeders with safety in mind from air and land predators. AKA as cats, rodents, snakes, falcons & hawks (cats with wings).
