Feeling hopeful again

Friday morning I heard my little Towhee nearby. His little chirp woke me up just as his parents used to when they were letting me know they had arrived in my yard. I quickly jumped out of bed and threw on my warm winter coat and a scarf and out I ran to the backyard. I called to my little bird and told him to hang tight while I prepared his food. Putting together a plate of sunflower seed mix, the bread he likes, a few blueberries and mealworms, it was a hit for my little guy. I was so happy to see him I was filled with tears of joy and hope that my birds will live on through their little one.
